We provide Non-Lawyer services for clients who can’t afford an attorney and want to fill in and file the forms themselves as pro se litigants. We basically act as your secretary. We:
1). Type Forms (only copy handwritten information given to me by my clients.)
2). If using Supreme Court Forms I may ask factual questions to fill in the blanks.
3). Sell legal forms.
4). Sell printed material explaining legal practice and procedure.
5). Secretarial services.
6). Tell customers how to file legal documents.
7). Provide customer with a Disclosure for “Non-lawyer” form.
8). Type other legal/non-legal documents.
9). Provide copy services
10). Notary Republic staff
11). Courier services (Will deliver your documents wherever they need to go and will file them for you too for a fee).
12). Legal Assistant services to attorneys looking to outsource their work.
WHAT I DON’T DO
Per the Florida Bar
1). Advise clients to remedies available to them.
2). Otherwise assist in preparing forms necessary.
3). Make inquiries nor answer questions from clients as to the particular forms which might be necessary, how to best fill out those forms, where to properly file those forms, and how to present necessary evidence at a court hearing.
4). Give personal legal assistance in conjunction with my business initiatives including correction of errors and omissions.
